17 We Thank Thee, O God, for a Prophet

William Fowler, a British convert baptized in Sheffield 1849, was so moved by the thought of a prophet of God living among the people that he wrote the words to the hymn “We Thank Thee, O God, for a Prophet”

Come to the lesson prepared by reviewing the Ninth Article of Faith so that you can say it from memory:

"We believe all that God has revealed, all that He does now reveal, and we believe that He will yet reveal many great and important things pertaining to the Kingdom of God."

You can also prepare for the lesson by reviewing recent talks by President Monson in the Ensign or listening to his talks from General conference so that you can remember what the prophet has said recently.
